For some reason, I do. Although I was already a subscriber I hadn’t watched much by This Old Tony until this weekend. Check him out - there’s some fun stuff to be had here, especially when Meatball is involved. He’s not as raunchy as AvE, and sometimes the humor borders on dad jokes , but I’m OK wi th that.

Kinja'd!!!

Enjoy!

Same here. With quality material like this, amongst others,  available on YouTube I do not miss cable TV in the least.

Abom79!  Also watched a good amount of Clickspring where he makes the clock.

I find Abom’s videos good, but also very long. AvE’s stuff is too crude for me. I’ll have to look up Keith Rucker.

This Old Tony - top notch stuff there. It’s the little things that make it so good. Like hiding a “sub scribe” somewhere in almost every video.

The first 30 seconds threw me for a loop. Tony has quite the sense of humor.

I had to make Mrs. BaconSandwich watch the pineapple corer one. It was so strange, yet entrancing.

It’s rare to find a show about such a dry subject that’s entertaining.

Abom does a very good job of editing, so the videos don’t seem as long as they are. I don’t mind AvE ’s crude sense of humor most of the time , but lately he’s getting too technical and his stuff just isn’t holding my attention like it used to. I’m sure there’s solid information to be found in his videos, but his style is starting to remind me of burned-out professors unintentionally  putting the class to sleep . I’m not sure if it’s him or me, but I think it’s him.

I'll have to try giving Abom another shot.

Oxtools (Tom Lipton) is also excellent. He doesn’t try to be too funny. His stuff is reall y good machinist content. One can learn a lot there.
